I have purchased several. I am participating in the SwissMicros DM42 calculator beta program and have found the guides useful memory aids. I have PDF copies of the original HP 42S manuals, which are excellent, but tuck the guide into the calculator pouch to ensure some help is always available. It is a better calculator than the already great 42S was.

It does not need any parentheses as long as each operator has a fixed number of operands. In particular, the GX models have more onboard memory than the G models. A scientific calculator is a type of electronic calculator, usually but not always handheld, designed to calculate problems in science, engineering, and mathematics.
They have completely replaced slide rules in traditional applications, and are widely used in both education and professional settings. The HP is the first magnetic card-programmable handheld calculator. It is similar to HPS. It has 99 program lines of fully merged program and ten memory registers.
The HPS was a pocket calculator produced by Hewlett-Packard, introduced in , and discontinued between and It was the first HP scientific calculator to use algebraic entry instead of RPN, and though it was labelled scientific, it also included features associated with specialised business calculators.
HP calculators are various calculators manufactured by the Hewlett-Packard company over the years. All members of this series are programmable, use Reverse Polish Notation, and feature continuous memory. Nearly identical in appearance, each model provided different capabilities and was aimed at different user markets. They were the most advanced and last models of the "20" family and included Continuous Memory as a standard feature.
It was specifically designed for use by computer programmers, to assist in debugging. It is a member of the HP Voyager series of programmable calculators. The HPC was the first handheld calculator capable of solving equations symbolically.
HP also released a limited production anniversary edition with shiny black overlay and engraving "Celebrating 35 years". A graphing calculator is a class of hand-held calculator that is capable of plotting graphs and solving complex functions. The HPS calculator has a lot of functions. There is almost nothing special to say. You program in the same way you use the calculator and unlike some non-HP cheaper calculators, all the steps are shown in the display and in numbered lines. Only changing the a, b and c values? Almost 1 byte per line of program. As we said the HPS has about bytes of memory.
